"Trader" Vic Bergeron's eclectic Polynesian-style cuisine captured the imagination of the world and launched a culinary sensation that has endured for nearly eight decades.

Here at Portland’s Pearl District Restaurant, our chefs carry on the Trader Vic’s tradition by melding Portland and regional ingredients with cooking methods and exotic spices from the South Seas, Asia, Europe and beyond.

Our custom-built Chinese wood-fired oven roasts meat, poultry and seafood to perfection and infuses the distinctive smoky-sweet flavor that defines Trader Vic's dishes. It is also a healthy form of cooking that's endorsed by the American Heart Association.
